SKA Design was hired by the architectural team to develop a comprehensive exterior and interior signage program for the Pomona Valley Transfer Station: A state of the art collection center for materials, processing and recycling. As this is a very rugged environment, simple post and panel signs were developed that withstand damage and are easy to replace. Bright green signs with large white text and simple messages maximizes sign visibility and legibility. The signage palette for interior signage consisted of off white panels with black text so as not to compete with the interior architecture.
