SKA worked with the City of Brea, California to design a series of monument signs that will welcome visitors to the central business district. The design featured large stainless steel dimensional letters set upon a stone base with a curved concrete wall behind. Up lights mounted in the base behind the letters wash the back wall with illumination. As part of the design process, a scale model was made in order to study the shapes, relative sizes and colors.
