Huntington Memorial Hospital Donor Program

Pasadena, California

Role: Prime Consultant
Completed: 2013

SKA’s expertise was tapped to deliver a comprehensive donor recognition program for the Emergency Department remodel and Hospital East Tower. Based on recommendations from the architect, SKA prepared detailed drawings and location plans for donor walls, room plaques and exterior building naming. This program introduced recognition walls in these major philanthropy classifications:

• Lifetime Giving: Honors donors whose ongoing support exceeds $100,000
• Presidents Circle: Recognizes donors who make leadership gifts of $2,000 on an annual basis
• Legacy/Bequests: Acknowledges donors providing estate-related support such as a gift annuity or bequest
• Initiatives: Commemorates donations to specific hospital initiatives and programs
• Emergency Department: Highlights major donors to the emergency department expansion
• SCRUBS: Hails supporters under the age of 55 with school age children who donate on an annual basis

A creative assembly of bronze, brass, glass and acrylic provide a parallel to the wayfinding sign program and impart a sense of prestige, classiness and sophistication worthy of their purpose.
